The Naples Pulse Weekly
Curated local events for Naples, by interest
Good morning, Naples.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and this is one of those weeks where the useful thing is not another long event dump. It is a short list of good plans before the best reservation times disappear.
So we pulled together a Naples Mother’s Day guide with resort brunches, beachfront dining, garden plans, Mercato gift ideas, and a few polished backup options if the obvious spots are already tight.

If you still need a plan, start there first. A few standouts: The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón for a resort brunch, BALEEN Naples for beachfront atmosphere, Sails for a Fifth Avenue splurge, Naples Botanical Garden for a calmer morning, and Mercato if you need gifts, flowers, or an easy add-on.
Beyond Mother’s Day, this week has a strong Naples mix: Shakespeare downtown, Carole King at Gulfshore Playhouse, Piazzolla at Artis-Naples, Ritz afternoon tea, garden color, and easy waterfront options when you want Naples to feel like Naples.

Where to Take Mom in Naples for Mother’s Day
Sunday, May 10 | Naples, FL
Guide: https://citypulseweekly.com/naples/mothers-day-guide
We built this for the person who wants a good Mother’s Day plan without spending an hour bouncing between reservation sites.
It covers resort brunches, beachfront and Gulf-view dining, polished downtown restaurants, garden plans, Mercato gifts and flowers, and backup ideas if prime times are already gone.
If you are booking late, think flexible: early meal, late lunch, Saturday celebration, garden morning, or a gift-plus-dinner combo.
This Week's Headliner
Much Ado About Nothing at The Naples Players
Wednesday, May 6 | 7:30 PM | The Naples Players, 701 5th Ave S
Tickets / info: https://naplesplayers.org/
A downtown Naples theater night is one of the easiest weeknight recommendations, especially when the venue puts you right on Fifth Avenue.
The Naples Players bring Shakespeare’s comedy to town with the mistaken identity, sharp banter, romance, and social chaos that make Much Ado About Nothing more approachable than people sometimes expect from Shakespeare.
Make it a full evening if you can. Dinner on Fifth, a short walk to the theater, and a classic comedy is a very Naples way to start the week.
